Chester’s Cocktails for a Cause

Chester’s and Humane Society of Blue Ridge are teaming up to put a little extra spotlight on some very deserving dogs.

Every two weeks through November, Chester’s will feature one of HSBR’s long-stay adoptable dogs with a cocktail named just for them. 100% of the proceeds from each featured cocktail will be donated to Humane Society of Blue Ridge to help provide food, shelter, medical care and everything our animals need while they wait for homes of their own.

First up is MARMADUKE, who has been waiting 11 months for his family.

MEET MARMADUKE

MARMADUKE is 2 years old, wonderfully goofy and looking for someone willing to give him a little time.

He can be slow to trust new people, but once you’re in, you’re in for good. Underneath that cautious first impression is a silly, loyal boy who forms deep bonds with the people he knows and loves.

MARMADUKE is looking for a patient home that will let him settle in at his own pace and give him the chance to show just how special he is.

His trust might take a little time to earn, but once it is, his love is yours forever.
