Chester’s Cocktails for a Cause

Chester’s and Humane Society of Blue Ridge are teaming up to put a little extra spotlight on some very deserving dogs.

Every two weeks through November, Chester’s will feature one of HSBR’s long-stay adoptable dogs with a cocktail named just for them. 100% of the proceeds from each featured cocktail will be donated to Humane Society of Blue Ridge to help provide food, shelter, medical care and everything our animals need while they wait for homes of their own.

Our fourth featured dog is ALMOND, who has been waiting close to a year to be chosen by a family.

MEET ALMOND!

ALMOND is 2 years old, incredibly sweet, adventurous and a survivor with so much love to give.

Before coming to us, ALMOND was facing euthanasia at an overcrowded shelter. She was given a second chance, and since then, she's also overcome heartworm disease. Through it all, she's held onto her happy, loving personality and her excitement for life.

ALMOND is a very social girl who loves meeting new people, making friends and exploring the world around her. She's always ready for a new adventure and would love a family to share those experiences with.

After everything she's been through, ALMOND deserves a home where she can enjoy the life she fought so hard to have. She's ready to put the difficult days behind her and start her next chapter with a family of her own.
