Taste of Blue Ridge – Volunteers Needed!

Calling all Volunteers ……. Taste of Blue Ridge is rapidly approaching!   The event location is Willow Creek Falls & Vineyard and the date is Saturday, May 4, 2019.  TOBR is the Humane Society of Blue Ridge’s largest fund raising event each year.  As you probably already know it is a crazy busy night.  Sure it is a lot of work but it is also a TON of fun and is for a great cause; proceeds from the TOBR go towards feeding and providing vet care for all the dogs and cats in our care at the shelter and in foster homes.

There are all kinds of opportunities to help out at TOBR – from helping with parking, greeting people at the door and making sure that they have a bag, serving for restaurants and helping with our Silent Auction.  The world is your oyster …. If you’d be interested in volunteering, we’d love to have you. And for those of you that sign up, let me thank you ahead of time – it’s only because of you – the incredible army of volunteers that help out each year – that this event is so much fun and such a huge success.

Due to fire safety regulations at Willow Creek Falls – we are limited to 100 volunteers.  Please know that if you’d like to volunteer – we would love to have you. Please contact me – Beth Neal (TOBR Volunteer Coordinator) ASAP at either beth.neal@mac.com or (404) 502-9160.  Volunteer tickets will remain $20 each and will go on sale at the HSBR Thrift Store on April 1, 2019.  (Regular guest tickets will also go on sale 4/1/19 for $50 each and can be purchased either on-line or at the TS).  To purchase a volunteer ticket at the TS, you will need to have contacted me beforehand so that I can make sure that your name is on the volunteer list.  We need you to make this TOBR the best one yet
