Spay and Neuter

We provide low cost spay and neuter to families for their pets—any dog or cat, male or female. Please encourage family, friends and neighbors to have their pets spayed and neutered. If cost is an issue for them, let them know about S.N.I.P.

What is S.N.I.P.?

This is our Spay Neuter Incentive Program.

We have utilized the generous grant money we had for the $29 SNIP Program, so we are back to our regular program.

Get your pets SPAYED or NEUTERED—any dog or cat, male or female—for a reduced cost!

This is for Fannin County residents only.

Spaying and neutering cost varies, depending on weight and gender, but here are some guidelines:

  • Cats start at $52 and go up to $71
  • Dogs Start at $63 and go up to $95

Call the HAVEN at (706) 632-4357 for more details or email us for more information.

For Community Animals

Spay/neuter can be utilized for community animals as well as pets. We encourage everyone to be on the lookout for feral cats and take advantage of additional low-cost spay/neuter assistance programs to help control feral populations.

Why is it so important to spay and neuter?

One unaltered female dog and her offspring can produce 67,000 puppies in only six years. In seven years, one female cat and her offspring can produce an incredible 370,000 kittens! The humane way to combat pet overpopulation is through spay and neuter programs.

Here are several other low-cost spay/neuter assistance facilities in the North Georgia area:

  • Fannin County

  • Murphy, NC

  • North-East Georgia
